Rates & Insurance Information
Therapy is an essential investment; I want to make sure that you are receiving the highest quality of care and support. I offer a FREE 20-minute in-office or virtual consultation appointment. During this brief and important appointment, you can ask the questions that are important for you to know as well as share what you’re wanting from therapy. This will give us a sense that it’s a “good fit”, which is essential for your safety and comfort in our work together.
My rates are for individuals and couples:
50 minute session $150.00/session
80 minute session $225.00/session
Consultation Free/20 minutes
My commitment is to make sure you experience high quality, affordable therapy at enCOURAGE Counseling.
I offer reduced rate fees for a set amount of weekly clients. If you need a reduced rate, I will let you know if I have an opening for that amount. I review requests for reduced rate every 4 months with current clients to keep the availability up to date.
I also offer Super bills for reimbursement to your insurance company.
We’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. See if you qualify: https://mentaya.co/checkbenefits/encouragecounseling
Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/encouragecounseling
2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
4. You get reimbursed by insurance!
Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.
It’s risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
Payment
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept electronic payments via Venmo. Payment is received at the end of each session.
I am a provider for:
- 18th Judicial District Victims Compensation program (Douglas County)
- 1st Judicial District Victims Compensation program (Jefferson County)
- HSA and FSA cards accepted
I am not a provider for any insurance companies. Although I recognize how insurance can support the costs of mental health support, I also know that there are drawbacks in becoming an insurance-paid therapist. I want you to get the best care possible, so I am committed to offering quality therapy as a private pay therapist.
Because therapy costs can make it difficult to pay out of pocket, clients may request a Superbill that can be submitted to insurance companies towards the deductible and/or reimbursement (based on the company’s process). Clients are responsible for the submission and communication with their insurance companies.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure to cancel by phone, text or email within 24 hours of your appointment. Details of the cancellation policy are part of the intake paperwork. We will review it in our first appointment together.
