All you need is a computer, cell phone (just in case we need audio support), and a private space to begin each session. Each week I send a personalized link for you to use. For your appointment, you simply use the link to meet me online for our weekly session. I have worked out the bugs and hiccups so that online therapy is low stress and high safety for you.

I offer a FREE consultation using the virtual experience so that you can get a feel for who I am and what therapy will look like once we begin. Our first full session will be like a regular therapy session: I’ll answer your questions, and then ask you to share what’s happening emotionally for you and what you’d like to focus on during our sessions. Together we set goals, and then begin the powerful work of supporting your emotional strength and developing tools that will empower you to deal with stress, depression, anxiety and relationship issues in new ways.

I use a variety of talk therapy strategies as well as EMDR during our online sessions. We pace the sessions according to your goals and your needs. We create safety and comfort while talking on the screen together.

Can we do couples counseling online?

Yes! Couples have found this experience to be powerful in their goals for communication, intimacy and growth together. I facilitate ways for couples to talk openly and effectively while at home. Couples also have experiments to try after the session so that they are able to practice the skills we used in real life situations. The comfort of being at home together actually allows couples to feel more relaxed while doing the hard work of healing together.

I work all day/go to school. How can I fit an online counseling session into my schedule?
